  16. availability of COLUMBUS,  for NeXTSTEP (Intel, HP and Motorola
  17. hardware).

  19. Columbus is a leading NextStep application in Laboratory Information
  20. Management System (LIMS). Columbus is a solution for laboratories
  21. that need to handle large amounts of spectrometry and spectrography
  22. data. Columbus offers publishing capabilities that enable paperless
  23. report writings.

  25. Columbus can collect data two ways :

  27. - reading ASCII files exported by the instrument software
  28. - direct file transfer using serial lines, or ethernet.
  29. VAMAS format is supported

  42. including peak fitting factor analysis and peak identification and
  43. quantitation procedures. It was developed by a team of software
  44. engineers that all holds Ph.D. in materials Science and related
  45. fields, and under the supervision of well known scientists in each
  46. field.
